The direction for this project was to create an illustrated alphabet made from floral elements. The client wanted a style that felt light and modern, so we decided to make the letters feel like they were actually made with sticks, leaves and flowers on a picnic blanket. The floral elements were then used as patterns and ornaments throughout the book.
